end of year kicks and bonus

it has been a while since i last post about shoes. due to the business of student teaching last quarter, i did not have the time to blog about anything. with that being said, school is over and i'm going to go full force on blogging instead of random social media crap such as instagram / twitter / facebook. i feel that blogging is (just a bit) more intimate and in depth.

so let's begin and get back to where i left off months go.

first off:
bodega x asics gel lyte v "get wet" pack
this release was fairly easy to get. initially i did not care about them, but they continue to grow on me...

pusha t x adidas eqt "king push"
adidas execute this pair of shoe with extreme high quality materials. the color is very subtle and the comfort on these are top notch. notice all kinds of different materials on these? that's right!
these are probably the best adidas shoe that i've seen this year.

nike flyknit racer
these are, by far, the most comfortable shoes i've worn. but, sadly, i have to let them go..
why am i letting them go? because they're too colorful for a grown man to wear.

nike air jordan 11 "legend blue"
what's so speical about these? really?

concepts x new balance 997 "rose"
new balance 997 made a good come back this year. initially the author's collection consist of 2 997 that have the best quality shoes i've seen. then concepts collaborate with new balance to make this pair. the detail and quality on these are amazing. 3m tongue and heel tab with croc prints is ...l enough said. then, really subtle "pink" suede color to complement the grey/ white.

nike air jordan 13 "bred"
not gonna go into much about these..

nike air jordan 6 "infrared"
as far as i know, these are the first pair (retro-ed like 5 times already) that mj wear to win his first ring. is that the only fact that gets people are hyped up on these? or they're simply good?
i don't know..

new balance 997's
so i'm selling my nike flyknit racers right now. these are the shoes that i'm currently wearing. they aren't as light and comfortable as the racers, but they provide a solid support and they feel very comfortable. to top it off, these are made in the u.s.a. and they have amazing quality materials on them.

after christmas / before new year bonus.

till next time.

happy new year & God bless you.

christmas present for mama

it's that time of the year again, when the majority of the population in the us of a are busy hustling and bustling with buying stuffs. i didn't buy much and i didnt have time (and money) to buy much. besides, it's kind of crazy driving around places during this kind of season. on december 22, 2014, it marks the 34th anniversary of my parents marriage together. andy and i spent alot of time thinking and arguing what to buy for them, but we ended up betting nothing at all. during dinner, dad pray and thank God for the gift, which are his children. upon hearing his thankful prayer, i realized alot.

on this christmas, i bought a few stuffs for friends and family. but one of my favorite present to give is this pair of air jordan 11 legend blues for mom.

don't forget, the real reason of christmas is Christ coming to earth and save all of us.

gift, family, and all that matter are secondary

enjoy your christmas and happy new year.

Winter

It's been too long since I last posted something here. You know when you haven't seen someone in a really long time, it's hard to catch up because there's too much going on? In the past three months, I didn't do anything besides student teaching. It was one hell of aa emotional roller coaster ride, but I'm glad it was over.

I should be posting some pictures of what happened in the past three months, but unfortunately I don't have anything that's worthy (or they are really bad - photography wise) because my "eyes" are losing their framing skills, haha.

Anyways, today is Tuesday and it is drizzling here in Monterey Park. With that being said, I'm not too busy and decided to take some pictures of our farm.

Till next time.

it's been a long long time

dear readers,

it's been a long time since i last post on this blog of mine. as you (if you are close enough to me) may know, i'm currently student teaching at park elementary school. on a daily basis, i wake up at 5 a.m. to get ready. the bell at school rings at 7:55. school's final bell rings at 2:30, that final bell is my happy bell. when it rings, i get this jolt of happiness. maybe ivan pavlov's experiment is correct after all, even on humans..

anyways, despite being in this busy cycle, i still find the time on the weekend (and some week days) to buy some shoes and get a quick bucks off some of them. 6 more weeks until my training course is done, then i will (hopefully) pass my rica by then and start applying for a job.

speaking of blogging, i'm going to do my best to capture all that i can and put it on here more often. i'm tire of not having the time to blog, travel, and enjoy the "little things" in life. in the meantime, i'm hanging in there moment by moment, day by day.

until next time love ones.

sincerely,
pham

97

I don't remember if we celebrated grandma's 97 last year or did I miss her actual age. To be blunt and honest with you, no one in the family knows her exact age. So year after year, we just keep on counting the number. Whether she is 95, 96, 97, or 100, only God knows. Did she get a birth certificate almost 100 years ago? who knows.. Even if she did have it, bringing a piece of paper along with you to the United States of America 30-40 years ago doesn't seem to make sense. So, why bother with the actual age when we can celebrate the fact that we're alive?

In my experience, after receiving a kidney transplant, everyday is a brand new day. A lot of people say, "same shit different day," and "same old same old. But for me, everyday is a brand new day to celebrate life! Whether i'll be doing something to make progress towards something bigger or doing something new, everyday, in a sense, is a birthday for me.

summer camping

it is safe to say that my pictures and my photography skill are slowly diminishing. these busy days, my passion for cameras are fading away. on top of that, time is becoming more precious by the second. with that being said, my pictures are less crisp, more crooked, and kind of out of focus. it is what it is, i suppose.

anyways, this year's church camp was at miller canyon in hesperia. although the weather was high and the air was dry, it wasn't too hot and it wasn't too cold. the campsite was more like los angeles, but a bit hotter during the day and colder during the night. we didn't get a chance to go to the lake because it was very packed, so we take alot of time relaxing here. overall, labor day weekend camping was really fun, educational, and at the same time quite tiring.

until next time.
