LACMA

Earlier this morning I finished the RICA exam. It took me approximately 5 hours, from 8:00 - 12-1 ish. It was a little too long staring at the computer screen reading prompts, answering multiple choice questions, and type short answers. The process was aggravating because of hunger and thirst. So immediately after the test, I stop by in-and-out and grab a 3x3 burger animal style and a coke to satisfy this craving (Yes!)

Not too soon after that, I got an invitation to go to LACMA with ban thanh nien. Today is a free entrance day for everyone. Food trucks lined up and people are literatlly everywhere like colonies of ants walking around. Traffic was insane and finding parking (despite having a handicap sign) took me a good 30 minutes. With all that being said, I found parking and meet up with ban thanh nien hang out with them.

I don't know what is it about art but I'm not impress with it. Maybe I'm colorblind? Maybe it takes training to understand art? I don't know..

It was a good day

preparing for la marathon 2015

there's a lot going on. rica test, upcoming trips to san francisco and washington, a friend coming over from germany to visit, and possible trip to vietnam this year.

there's a lot of books that i want to read and finish, as well as movies to watch and a lot of things to do

dreams come and dreams go, it swings by so fast when you're young. before you know it, you're getting older by the minute

with that being said, i've decided to run this year's la marathon with thomas because it's a RARE opportunity for us to bond and talk to each other. i do not remember when was the last time thomas and i compete against each other (maybe sports fest) and bond at the same time

dear stranger reading this blog: hold your love one's hand, talk to them, or bond with them in any ways because life's is short and time is precious

Fettuccine Alfredo

it's been a while since we last cook together. this time, our original intention was to make sushi ( or least attempt to make sushi ). But that all change when we went to costco. Why? Because the amount of salmon and/or tuna they offered was just too much. So we decided to grab some meatballs and sausages (for next time) to make some pasta. In the past, I was always the one to cook for Andy and Thu. But this time, Andy took the leading role and made some pretty good fettucine alfredo.
