End of an era.

When did I start collecting pins? I don't remember when, but it felt like it was forever! I suppose the passion and joy of new releases (especially the ones that came from a jacket) is fun. However, it is tiring and expensive for little pieces of metal. Over the past 5 years - I have talked to all kinds of people; seller, buyers, collectors, ebay-ers, and all sorts of people from alot of different places online related to the pin adventure. Whatever anything may be, it will inevitably will come to an end. 

Lucky for me, I didn't spend anytime looking for a buyer. But the buyer found my post on instagram and just bought them all. Flawless and quick transaction as well, despite the large number he transferred. It's quite bittersweet to let it go, but it's a good thing as I don't really pay attention to it anymore.

This picture has so much memories intact to it haha. All these pins only came with a schott jacket. That said, in order for you to get each pin; you'd have to buy a jacket. As for me, I search everyday and ask people to separate it for me and I'd pay a lot for each.

One of the reason why I stop was mainly because Schott's pin and these. Supreme simply force you to buy a certain apparel in order to get a pin. Asking people to separate it or pay a large sum of money for it is just absurd.

Supreme Sticker Collection

Besides Supreme pins, I also like to collect Supreme stickers. 

In the past year or so, the price of Supreme stickers have been exponentially increasing like a rocket shooting for the moon. That applies to pretty much majority of supreme related stuff. That said, I have also been reselling and buying to collect stickers heavily. 

There's about 30 stickers that I need to get to finish the entire collection (given that these 30 stickers can easily cost .. like 10k?). That said, I'm pretty content with what I have and I can rest easy now because they're becoming near impossible to find nowadays.

One portfolio has been complete and the second one is still in progress. In the meantime, enjoy these 4 pictures.

Supreme Pins

Wow.. it's been over a year already since I make another post on my personal blog.

A lot happened, wheww. .  I don't even know where to begin. My D7000 had issues, because of that I stopped taking pictures. Events and important things were all recorded in my personal journal . .but it's not the same as blogging. Now that there's a Sony A7, I don't have the same "drive" to take pictures as I did before. 

But you know what, I spent 15 months without blogging or taking quality pictures.. and that's a huge loss right there. I'm hoping to blog more so I can go back in time and reflect on things I did when I get older.

Anyways...back to my hobby-

Here's an updated Supreme pin collection. All the way from the first ones to the most recent one. I'm missing the following sample pins: Popeye, Sorry About That, and Lacoste...but, I'm not even worry about it.

At this point, I don't really have a desire to need to own too much stuff anymore. on top of it, majority of middle school teens already know all the hypes and brand i used to like. With that being said, i guess it's time to move on and buy better quality, better material, specifically, from Japan stuffs. But in the meantime, I still continue to buy stuffs just for reselling's sake. Extra free money ain't too bad..

January 17 : Pick ups

Pretty much the summary of what came last month. After all this flux of Adidas and Bape, I think I'm going pass on them. Aside from the "boost" mid sole, there isn't any great about it. It's not even good from running long distance, as there isn't that much support.

Andy got lucky on those RF Ultra boost. I suppose everything here is going straight to eBay, except for some shirts. Overall, it's been a good month

I've been buying a lot lately but this is my first time to actually post the entire package in this blog. There's a few more things but Chendo already bought them before I could take this picture. Looks like I'd be posting what I pick up on a monthly basis from now on just to remember what I bought

el nino calms me

It's been a while and it's been long due. Many things that I couldn't get done, such as buying a new camera because my d7000 is no good, go to art shows, and obviously catching up with my blog.
Better late than never, I suppose.

They say that saving money is hard, they're right. Hopefully by the end of this year, I will have a solid camera to continue my hobby again. In the meantime, some camera photos should suffice memories and recent trips.

Thomas' running history and his passion for running was an inspiration for me to start it all. Looking back, I have not been running as much as he did. But one day, I hope to have a "hall of fame" or a "trophy wall" to decorate in my house. Strictly 26.2 miles runs only.

I got an opportunity to link up with my brother Joseph, coming all the way down from Inglewood to visit during Christmas holiday. We got some bomb tacos that day.

That one time I drove from 7am - almost 8pm picking Andy up from Merced. That round trip was really smooth. He took me to a local Thai restaurant which served pretty good pad.

Driving all the way to South Coast Plaza to get Yeezy tickets with Chris. Then get some Ba Nai because we were mad hungry. We did not win any raffles, but the noodle and gyoza was pretty good. Probably the best gyoza I've had.

just a couple of years ago, i had alot of stickers and liked to collect them. but for some random ass reason i decided to sell them. yes i did. i sold alot of older and harder to find ones too (grip tape, og holographic, fuck bush, last supper, and you name it..)

now.. for some random ass reason i like stickers again and decided to do it again. hopefully this time, i'd just leave them alone and not sell them just because i "dislike" them at one point.
